Funeral | York Crematorium – March 2018

Hi Cameron, I just wanted to thank you from the Goring Family. What you did in that heat yesterday, was above and beyond. You are an extraordinary piper, but even more, a better human being. My family will remember your playing forever, and I am sure Morley, as a town will not forget what they saw. My family and friends were in awe of you and this IS testament to you as a person. Hello Cameron. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for today at my Dad’s funeral. It was beautiful. I stood watching you when we came out of the crematorium and could have stayed for hours listening to you play. I hope my dad was looking down as he would have been so proud. You did an amazing job. Cameron, just a quick message to thank you for playing at Louise’s wedding. When I spoke about you during my speech you were received with rapturous applause and afterwards the grooms uncle who is based in Nova Scotia was very enthusiastic about his conversation with you later. Hi Cameron, I would just like to say a massive thank you for playing at John’s funeral on Saturday. The choice of music and your performance was just perfect. My husband would be so proud that we laid him to rest this way. Everyone, but especially all of his Scottish friends found the occasion extremely moving, and that is down to you, so many, many thanks.
