Funeral | Morley, Leeds – July 2021

Good evening Cameron. We would like to thank you for everything you did on Friday to help us say goodbye to our lovely sister. It meant so much to us to have that little bit of home (Scotland) at that time. We really appreciated it when you continued to play in the flower garden. We can’t explain how much that meant. It was nice to meet a true gentleman and follow Scot. Thank you again for everything Helen

Hello Cameron, I hope you and your family are all well and good. Sorry it’s taken so long for me to contact you it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and I’m still riding. I wanted to say that you were absolutely amazing at Mum’s celebration of life and we can’t thank you enough for the beautiful service you gave to us all 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 you are a true gentleman and an amazing piper. Hi Cameron, I just wanted to thank you from the Goring Family. What you did in that heat yesterday, was above and beyond. You are an extraordinary piper, but even more, a better human being. My family will remember your playing forever, and I am sure Morley, as a town will not forget what they saw. My family and friends were in awe of you and this IS testament to you as a person. Hi Cameron, I would just like to say a massive thank you for playing at John’s funeral on Saturday. The choice of music and your performance was just perfect. My husband would be so proud that we laid him to rest this way. Everyone, but especially all of his Scottish friends found the occasion extremely moving, and that is down to you, so many, many thanks.

Hi Cameron, Thank you very much for your piping at the funeral of my son yesterday. You were excellent and thank you for wearing the full military No. 1 uniform with feather bonnet.
