Funeral | Mansfield Cemetery – June 2020

Hello Cameron, I hope you and your family are all well and good. Sorry it’s taken so long for me to contact you it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and I’m still riding. I wanted to say that you were absolutely amazing at Mum’s celebration of life and we can’t thank you enough for the beautiful service you gave to us all 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 you are a true gentleman and an amazing piper. The family have asked me to thank you for your excellent playing at Rawdon Crematorium in Leeds yesterday. The way you played Amazing Grace was particularly moving and your bagpipe had a wonderful sound.

Cameron, thank you very much for playing at my father’s funeral yesterday. Your music set the tone as one of solemnity and celebration in a way that was much more than I imagined beforehand. Many people commented to me afterwards that they thought it a fitting and memorable tribute and much in keeping with his love of the Highlands. June 2017
