Funeral | Huddersfield – February 2023

Dear Cameron. Thank you ever so much for your excellent bagpipe playing at my father’s funeral in York. He was an exiled Scot and would have really loved it.

Good morning Cameron. I just wanted to thank you for playing the pipes at Dad’s funeral yesterday. Your playing added so much on the day and was very moving for us. We all appreciated it so again thank you.

Cameron, just a quick note to thank you for playing at dad’s funeral and especially for playing the Black Bear at the end. It was his favourite tune.

Hi Cameron, Thank you very much for your piping at the funeral of my son yesterday. You were excellent and thank you for wearing the full military No. 1 uniform with feather bonnet. You did a wonderful job and it made the funeral. I’m sorry I didn’t really get the chance to have a chat with you but I wanted to say a big thanks. Thank you Cameron. Edward

Hi Cameron, I just wanted to thank you from the Goring Family. What you did in that heat yesterday, was above and beyond. You are an extraordinary piper, but even more, a better human being. My family will remember your playing forever, and I am sure Morley, as a town will not forget what they saw. My family and friends were in awe of you and this IS testament to you as a person.
