Funeral | Barnsley – April 2023

Cameron, just a quick note to thank you for playing at dad’s funeral and especially for playing the Black Bear at the end. It was his favourite tune.

Hi Cameron, I would just like to say a massive thank you for playing at John’s funeral on Saturday. The choice of music and your performance was just perfect. My husband would be so proud that we laid him to rest this way. Everyone, but especially all of his Scottish friends found the occasion extremely moving, and that is down to you, so many, many thanks.

Cameron was excellent from the minute we booked him. He kept in contact, discussed our preferences, and gave excellent renditions of our chosen pieces on the day. We would not hesitate to recommend Cameron to anyone. Thank you, John.

A huge thank you for piping at our wedding. What a wonderful sound when you piped me down the aisle. All our guests were very moved and thought your playing added greatly to the whole day.

Cameron, just a quick message to thank you for playing at Louise’s wedding. When I spoke about you during my speech you were received with rapturous applause and afterwards the grooms uncle who is based in Nova Scotia was very enthusiastic about his conversation with you later. Cameron, thank you very much for playing at my father’s funeral yesterday. Your music set the tone as one of solemnity and celebration in a way that was much more than I imagined beforehand.
