Cameron, just a quick message to thank you for playing at Louise’s wedding. When I spoke about you during my speech you were received with rapturous applause and afterwards the grooms uncle who is based in Nova Scotia was very enthusiastic about his conversation with you later. Good evening Cameron. We would like to thank you for everything you did on Friday to help us say goodbye to our lovely sister. It meant so much to us to have that little bit of home (Scotland) at that time. We really appreciated it when you continued to play in the flower garden. We can’t explain how much that meant. Hello Cameron. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for today at my Dad’s funeral. It was beautiful. I stood watching you when we came out of the crematorium and could have stayed for hours listening to you play. I hope my dad was looking down as he would have been so proud. You did an amazing job. Hi Cameron, I would just like to say a massive thank you for playing at John’s funeral on Saturday. The choice of music and your performance was just perfect. My husband would be so proud that we laid him to rest this way. Everyone, but especially all of his Scottish friends found the occasion extremely moving, and that is down to you, so many, many thanks.

Hi Cameron, I just wanted to thank you from the Goring Family. What you did in that heat yesterday, was above and beyond. You are an extraordinary piper, but even more, a better human being. My family will remember your playing forever, and I am sure Morley, as a town will not forget what they saw. My family and friends were in awe of you and this IS testament to you as a person. Cameron, thank you very much for playing at my father’s funeral yesterday. Your music set the tone as one of solemnity and celebration in a way that was much more than I imagined beforehand. Many people commented to me afterwards that they thought it a fitting and memorable tribute and much in keeping with his love of the Highlands. June 2017
